A visionary civic leader, Dr. Griffin has served as the Senior Pastor of Oakdale Covenant Church in Chicago for over two decades. Under his leadership, the church has grown from a small congregation of a few hundred to a thriving community with over 2,700 members. The church has also established Oakdale Christian Academy and Childcare, and Oakdale Community Development Corporation to expand its outreach.
Dr. Griffin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Morehouse College and a Masters of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. He has also earned a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching from North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, where he further developed his skills as a spiritual director and Enneagram trainer. In addition to his theological training, Dr. Griffin is a certified leadership coach, helping organizations build teams, manage change, and maximize their potential.
